6 Steps to Take a Sauna Bath at Home
Step - 1
Turn on your heater and ensure that the sauna room attains the right temperature between 150 degrees Fahrenheit and 170 degrees Fahrenheit. If you are a beginner at using the sauna, you should start from the lower end of this temperature range. After that, you can work your way up to the higher temperatures after taking sauna baths several times.
Step – 2
Remove all clothes except your swimsuit, eyeglasses, contact lenses, jewelry etc. Then, quickly shower with warm water soap or a quick dip in your pool or hot tub.
Step – 3
In the beginning, enter the sauna for around five to fifteen minutes. Then, bring a towel into the sauna, which you can use to sit or lay. As soon as you have started perspiring freely, leave the sauna room.
Step – 4
Now take a cold plunge in your swimming pool or shower. Then, relax and cool down for around ten to twenty minutes.
Step – 5
Enter the sauna room again. You must sprinkle a small amount of water onto the sauna stones to create steam bursts. If the water spills through the sauna heater and onto the floor, you use too much steam. This steam won’t affect the heater or the sauna.
Step – 6
Relax for around twenty minutes. Then, take a shower with warm water and soap. Rinse with cooler water to close your skin pores when you cool down completely; dress.
